Carey Anna was one of the last of my 2011 seniors and her session turned out to be one of my favorites! She had the fabulous idea of shooting part of her session in ArtQuest, part of the Green Hill Center for NC Art. It’s a great little space full of crafting materials, canvases, and paint where everyone can go just to create stuff! It looked like a blast!

See that blue “make art” quote on the canvas behind Carey? She painted that years ago and it’s still there :)

LOVE the colors in this place. . .

Carey is a natural in front of the camera . . .

We happened to find the script in Carey’s backpack from a play she was in recently. . .

One of my favorite senior photos. Like, ever.

She has such a gorgeous smile!

Carey brought her ukelele out at the end of the session. So cute!

Mary Beth’s senior session in Greensboro, NC.

Though my slow-season is almost here, I still have plenty of shoots that haven’t made it to the blog yet! So, today I’m sharing the senior session of Mary Beth. She is one of the most classically beautiful girls I’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing!

I love this old building and the red vine crawling up it! Looked beautiful with Mary Beth’s red dress :)

This girl has some serious fashion sense. She looked great the entire time!

I love that Mary Beth brought her violin for a few photos.

She’s got a gorgeous smile, too . . .

The photos in front of this red wall are my fave. The outfit, the hair, the colors. . . it all makes for a gorgeous portrait!

Melody is a beautiful, outgoing, and fun girl in the middle of her senior year of high school! We shot her senior portraits and my new favorite location… it’s full of fun backdrops and textures! Melody totally rocked this shoot! Her outfits were so fun and she was an absolutely natural in front of the camera. Thanks for being awesome, Melody!

I love this giggle. . .

The camera loves Melody’s face. . .

It was a beautiful day to lay down in the grass and hang out for a bit . . .

Aren’t you in love with Melody’s long hair? Beautiful!

Fall in NC is so gorgeous! I love how Melody’s lips and the leaves are almost the same exact color here . . .

More sessions and weddings are coming soon! Keep checking back for more and don’t forget to leave a comment if you like what you see!

I don’t get to photograph guy senior sessions much so I was really excited when I met with Lee about his session this fall! He is such a sweet guy and really had a vision for his senior portraits. We shot in downtown Winston Salem and had some amazing weather, light, and backdrops to work with!

Lee has a great smile . . .

I love this Fall/Winter outfit he changed into. Can you believe it’s already November?

Lee wanted to make sure to incorporate some street scenes and tall buildings in the background. . .

One of my faves. . . I love the yellow taxi in the background!

Lee, thanks for being so great to work with! You are so fun and I know you will do well in your senior year!

I love when this little shop turns on their bubble machine :) So cute!

The Green Bean has my favorite chai lattes… and really pretty walls.

Jennifer loves to journal so we included that part of her life in a few shots . . .

Cute boots!

Jennifer has such a good “serious” face.

Definitely my favorite photo from the session. So casual and gorgeous!

Paige is another of my beautiful 2011 seniors! We had to reschedule her session previously because of horrible weather and couldn’t find another date that worked for everyone! After going back and forth we finally chose another date. Turns out that Paige was pretty sick on our session date but she totally toughed it out and looked good, too! I didn’t even know she was feeling bad until she told me! You’re awesome, Paige!

This photo cracks me up. So different than the normal smiley senior portrait but I like it!

Love this black & white portrait. .  .

Would you believe that Paige’s mom picked out this graffiti background? LOVE it!

I love how this scarf brings out Paige’s gorgeous eye color!

This may just be my favorite shot from the session. . .

Paige, good luck on your senior year! You are a wonderful young woman and I know you will do well!
