It seems like every time I make a post I want to write about how fast time is flying! I’ll save it this time, though, and just say now that Christmas has passed and all the Christmas cards have been received by family and friends, I’m excited that I can safely share portraits from my Christmas mini sessions without stealing the thunder from any of these beautiful people! Since our sweet baby Anna was due in the middle of October, I couldn’t safely schedule a fall mini session date and decided to do mini sessions in the very beginning of December instead. I was a little bit nervous about the weather and the turnout being so late in the year but I’m so happy to say the event was a success! With its beautiful front stairs and porch, charming outdoor niches, and a stunning interior, the McAlister-Leftwich House in downtown Greensboro was the perfect place to shoot! We were able to use both the inside and outside of the venue which proved to be a lifesaver as it started drizzling halfway through the day! But we had plenty of light to work with and everything worked out perfectly. I love that mini sessions all take place in the same location and yet can look so different from one family to the next! Take a look at these fourteen lovely groups…
