What a perfect way to end my 2013 wedding season! These two are dear friends of ours and Chelsea works with Jonathan at Daystar Church. My birthday fell on their wedding date and I was so honored with many “Happy Birthday!” wishes from mutual friends all day and two rounds of the birthday song! They were so sweet to share their day with me!
This was also my first time shooting at Reverie Farm and it was incredible! The property was beautiful and perfectly fit Chelsea’s vision of rustic elegance… they even had a tractor-pulled hayride taking guests down to the ceremony site by the lake! We were surprised by a rain shower right at the end of the ceremony but it didn’t ruin this wedding day… in fact, as the rain fell harder and harder, everybody’s smiles got wider and the guests started to giggle. It was so fun! As soon as Chelsea + David cleared the aisle, we made a mad dash for cover ;) Thankfully, the rain only lasted a short time and we were able to take some portraits outdoors and finish out the night with a beautiful reception and clear skies! Seriously, a perfect day to celebrate with friends and family!
