I’m back to blogging! I know I haven’t updated in a little while and I hope you all have been waiting on the edge of your seats :) These past couple of weeks have been a little crazy but I’ve got lots of good stuff coming up, starting with Chelsea and Jonathan’s wedding at Castle McCulloch!
I’ve known Chelsea’s family for a few years so it was extra fun being behind the scenes at the wedding! I hadn’t met Jonathan before but I could instantly tell how much he loves Chelsea and how their families are so supportive of the marriage. You’ll see it too in all the photos of hugs, tears, and prayers…
The details…
Venue : Castle McCulloch
Hair + Makeup : Carla White

Jonathan took a few minutes to open letters from his new sis-in-law and his bride. Such a sweet start to the day!
When Jonathan opened this gift from his bride he whispered “man, that girl knows me…”. So precious!
This is definitely one of my favorite shots of a groom getting ready.
Chelsea also sent this scrapbook for Jonathan to look through. It was filled with photos of them together, movie tickets from dates they went on, and cute notes. She loves him so much :)
A little help from the guys . . .
I took the guys outside to do a few group shots before heading upstairs to shoot with the girls. We started with some slow-mo running… This series is cracking me up!
After shooting with the guys a few minutes, I went upstairs to check on the ladies. . .
Don’t you love Chelsea’s shoes? They looked so comfy and I just love the bows.
A quick kiss from her little sister, and we’re ready to head downstairs!
Chelsea and Jonathan’s day was filled with prayer from friends and family. I love being a part of these intimate moments and seeing their marriage start off with such a close support system!
This poster was set up outside for as an alternative to the guest book. Guests left a fingerprint and signed underneath… love it! My Jonathan (yeah, having two Jonathans was confusing!) shot with me and photographed the details below.
Love this moment between Chelsea’s dad and his soon to be son-in-law. . .
And here comes the bride :)
I love the movement in this image of our bride and groom leaving the ceremony tent…
A few moments alone as newlyweds . . .
Such a cute flowergirl :)
We finished the family formals early so we had some extra time for Chelsea and Jonathan alone . . .
The first dance was so precious . . . you could tell that Jonathan and Chelsea were only focused on each other.
Indiana Jones made another appearance with the rings. . .
Everyone made an appearance on the dance floor. . .
. . . and Chelsea’s dad got a little footloose!
Chelsea and Jonathan . . . thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day. We’re so excited for you and your future together!
