Man, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted here on the blog! Per usual, things got crazy as we moved into the holiday season (especially with four kids!). I have lots more to share with you from fall mini sessions to seniors and family portraits but I’m skipping ahead a few to share Emma + John’s wedding from earlier this month! I know there are so many different ways to operate as a wedding photographer but I’ve always thought a blog post of my favorite images is the best way for my couples to first get a glimpse of their wedding photos! It allows me to tell the story of their wedding day without overwhelming them with hundreds of photos to comb through at once.
So, I’m super happy to give you all a peek at Emma + John’s day! It’s so cliche to say but it really was perfect. Emma told me after she filled out her shot list with wedding details that her parents were married on the same day 34 years ago and got to enjoy a 60 degree January wedding day! We were all hoping for the same but, of course, it seemed like a long shot. Well it turned out to be a high of about 68 degrees but the forecast was rain all day! I was not worried at all because the Proximity has such gorgeous, enormous windows but the rain cleared and the sun even popped out for a few minutes after the ceremony and allowed us twenty minutes of perfect portrait time. It was amazing! Add that to all the smiles, tears, delicious food, and fun dancing and, like I said… perfect!
