Yeah, that says “Part 1” up there. Oh my gosh, I had the hardest time narrowing down the photos for this feature and I still ended up with too many for one post! But hey, that’s not a bad problem to have, right? With Leigh Pearce planning this wedding for months, I knew there were going to be tons of gorgeous personalized details and I was not disappointed!
But we all knew that this was much more than just a pretty wedding for Erin + Brandon and their families. Even the details had deeper meanings – Erin’s garter featured her grandmother’s gorgeous broach, and her bouquet housed photos of grandparents from their wedding days years ago. The ceremony was even officiated by their sister-in-law! The signature drink during cocktail hour was named after Brandon’s pet name for his bride – “Sugar Britches”! The reception centerpieces were made by Erin’s grandfather, and the desserts were made by family members and imported from family vacation spots.
But those aren’t the only things that made this wedding beautiful – The entire day felt like it went by in a flash… I got so caught up in the beauty and emotion of it all, it almost felt like I was part of the family. There were so many smiles and so many happy tears all day long! (I definitely had to blink back watery eyes a few times). It could not have been a more incredible day! Even the clouds were cooperating with us to cover the sun at just the right moments… Seriously, it was a dream to photograph! Many many thanks to Anna Paschal for shooting with me on this beautiful day!
