Happy Monday everyone! I thought this fun Memorial Day weekend wedding would help us get through the beginning of this week :)
I love connecting with all of my couples but this bride is a little extra special to me. My sweet cousin Katie and I spent 15+ years living across from each other and have watched each other through life’s highs and lows and bumpy transitions. I was thrilled when she and Jim found each other and was even more happy that I got to make the trip to Kansas City to document their wedding weekend.
These two are so fun and their wedding day fit them so perfectly! Cocktail hour was full of lawn games, caricature artists, and food truck appetizers and the dance party at the reception could’ve lasted all night. I think the photos tell the story pretty well so I’ll shut up and you can start looking!

I love the one Katie looking back over her shoulder and smiling! So perfect. I’m not sure I’ve seen another one like it!
Alexa, Fantastic job! You caught all the moments! Couldn’t be happier!
Beautiful photos! What a great couple, this really does capture the fun and playfulness of the wedding.
