Man, am I thankful for how Kerrie + Zac’s wedding day worked out! March 14th was right at the beginning of all the large-gathering restrictions in North Carolina so they were still able to have most of their friends and family join their “Pi Day” wedding. As is typical for a wedding, not everything went exactly right. But Kerrie + Zac were so calm and focused through the whole day! You could tell the one thing they cared about was meeting at the end of the aisle and getting married. It was so wonderful!
Some of my favorite things from their wedding day…
– Kerrie’s AMAZING dress. It fit her and her style perfectly!
– I loved how Kerrie + Zac chose to stand with each other while they read their wedding day letters before turning around for the first look. It was such a sweet and intimate moment.
– Josie the dog as a ringbearer! She was *so* excited to be there and except for some extremely heavy breathing (which had the back row laughing!), was hardly noticed during the ceremony after she made it down the aisle.
– Kerrie + Zac’s families were all SO sweet, fun, and supportive!
– On that note, Kerrie’s dad is a pastry chef and not only made their beautiful wedding cake but also *all* of the individual pie favors. They all looked incredible!
– The last dance. I think it’s such a sweet tradition for the couple to share one final dance while the guests get in place for the grand exit. Not only does it help get everyone lined up quicker, it’s a great moment for the bride and groom to soak up the last few minutes of their wedding day in peace.
