I have been looking forward to sharing this wedding ever since I first met with Meredith and Bryan last year. I’ve photographed most of Meredith’s family in different sessions already and was so excited to be working with these super sweet people again! Plus, it’s hard not to be excited about a rooftop wedding in Charlotte with the amazing Urban Sophisticates as the reception band! As usual with a North Carolina summer, the forecast was looking a little scary just a few hours before the wedding but any storms headed our way passed right by! The wedding day was beautiful… full of smiles, jokes, and happy tears. You can just tell Meredith and Bryan were made for each other!

Ok, first off, the Center City Holiday Inn is gorgeous! We were all obsessed with these old telephones in every hall.
We arrived at the girls room to find everyone totally happy and relaxed. That’s when you know it’s going to be a good day!
I love finding little details in the getting ready rooms . . . I especially loved catching Meredith’s dad double-checking the dance steps online.
I love Meredith and Bryan’s matching details . . .
Bryan was all smiles . . .
And the ringbearers? Oh my gosh. Precious! This one was so proud of his wallet and the picture of Meredith and Bryan that he carries in it.
I love these two images of Bryan and his dad together . . .
We visited the girls room again before the ceremony. The flowergirls were so excited to get dressed up!
A visit and a kiss from Meredith’s grandpa . . .
Tropical Images did a fabulous job with the bouquets! They smelled just as good as they look :)
The flowergirls and I swapped knock-knock jokes. I am pretty sure mine weren’t as funny as they thought . . .
Meredith’s parents are so adorable. They squeezed in a dance practice right before the ceremony . . .
I love this sign!
We took the bridal party down to street level for some photos during cocktail hour. We had a perfect sunset to work with!
We grabbed a few shots here before we got kicked out. Apparently no one is allowed to take pictures on this corner of the street! I’m glad we squeezed a few in… it was the only place that could fit this group!
I love my few minutes alone with the bride and groom . . .
I love this totally un-posed moment. Meredith’s gotta make sure her husband looks good!
Such a cute little series . . .
The lobby of the hotel is so fun! I love the bright colors and couches.
Some quick details before the reception starts . . .
I was so happy with the light during the first dance. The buildings in the background look unreal!
Meredith couldn’t stop watching her hubby during the toasts. . .
The Urban Sophisticates were such a great choice for the reception. They kept everyone entertained!
Bryan and Meredith got in the car and scooted right out the other door to grab just a couple more photos before leaving for the night . . .
Gorgeous photography! Great job!
Great job! You captured the beauty that is the Roberts and Dixon Family. Looks like a lovely celebration!
Beautiful, Alexa! I love the cake!
