What a way to end my Spring/Summer wedding season! (I’ll be taking off some time for my baby’s arrival later this month!) Rachel + Justin are both so sweet and low-key and their Summerfield Farms wedding was full of sunflowers and sunshine and was just. so. fun.
I met up with Rachel and her girls at the bridal cottage where she was watching her pup on the live cam at doggy day care, munching on macarons – a gift from her hubby-to-be, and just generally being relaxed and adorable. At the same time my awesome second photographer, Laura Bradford, was photographing the guys getting ready on the other side of the property. I always love seeing the differences between the guys and girls pre-wedding prep but you wanna know something precious? We had our cameras time-synced and Rachel and Justin were putting on their shoes at the exact same time. I just love that! Other favorite parts of the day were Rachel’s incredible light blush layered gown, the chuppah and toast during the ceremony, the abundance of sunflowers, and the father-daughter dance that took everyone by surprise.
Rachel + Justin, I hope you’re enjoying the last of your honeymoon in Iceland! Thanks for being so great.
