Victoria and William are one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet + photograph! We first met during our initial consultation at the wonderful Maxie B’s bakery here in Greensboro… they exchanged adorable glances at each other while telling me the story of how they met, fell in love, and got engaged. Seriously, they’re just perfect for each other! We shot their engagement session at William’s parent’s home in Shelby, North Carolina. As Jonathan and I got closer and closer to our destination, I wondered what this location was actually going to look like! We were in the middle of a historical downtown area and it just seemed like there was no space! We pulled into the driveway of the Blackley family home and were greeted by smiles, hugs, and a tour around the property. . . Boy, was I wrong about not having space! The property was full of beautiful nooks to shoot in, and was complete with personal family history, details, and even chickens!
Victoria was not as excited as William about holding the chickens for a few minutes ;)
